Vacations in St. Lucia

Saint Lucia is part of the Lesser Antilles, located north of the islands of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, northwest of Barbados and south of Martinique.

Although a small island, Saint Lucia is home to a lot of all inclusive resorts and many of them are luxury ones. There are also couples only resorts, just perfect for those looking for a romantic getaway.

It’s quite hard to find “budget” places on the island but there are some resorts or villas which don’t offer all inclusive rates so you will pay less per night although you still have to consider the rest of the activities.

Things to do

St. Lucia is very popular thanks to its beautiful beaches and resorts. Diving, snorkeling, swimming and other water sports can be practiced on these beaches.

The island also has the only drive-in volcano in the world. Other landmarks include the Sulfur Springs at Soufriere, a Botanical Garden and Pigeon Island National Park.

Whale watching, bird watching, hiking, fishing and safaris are also good ideas for spending some fun time.
