Resorts in Turks and Caicos

The majority of posh resorts are located in Grace Bay, where the tourists can find award winning beaches and lovely places to practice water sports. Incredible resorts are also located at the edge of national reserves and facing the sea.

Tourist season

Just like in the rest of the Caribbean, the high season lasts between December and April. During the low season many resorts are closed and they start to re-open between October 1 and November 1, just in time for the new high season. Hurricane Ike badly hit the islands in 2008 but not many resorts were that severely affected.
