Resorts in St. Kitts & Nevis

There aren’t many resorts in St. Kitts and Nevis and the island is still not overcrowded with tourists. One o the best beaches is Frigate Bay and that’s the area where you’ll find the resorts as well.

Tourist season

The peak season starts before Christmas and lasts until after New Year and the end of the Carnival. The high season ends only in April. The low season lasts between June and October. If you want to find some of the best deals and packages you can come to the islands in May or November, considered shoulder season.

Worth trying

Timothy Beach Resort, Frigate Bay

It’s the only hotel located right on the beautiful beach. All rooms have AC, TV, phone and fridge, while the suites also have fully equipped kitchenette. You can snorkel in the waters by the hotel or you can play tennis or golf near-by.

The winter 2008/2009 rates (Dec 15 to Apr 15) range between US$140.00 per room per night for a mountain view room, US$165.00 per room per night for an ocean view room, US$230.00 per room per night for a 1 bedroom suite and US$365.00 per room per night for a two bedroom apartment. Ocean Terrace Inn, Basseterre

Ocean Terrace Inn comprises several types of rooms and suits. All accommodations are equipped with AC, TV and wi-fi and also offer some of the most beautiful views of the capital city and the neighboring island of Nevis. The hotel also offers 3 pools, 3 bars , a fitness center and a conference room, as well as an on site dive shop. They can also help you organize a wedding.

During the high season (Dec 15, 2008 to Apr 14, 2009) the rates, based on breakfast plan, range between US$195 per night for a standard room, US$235 per night for a superior room, US$265 per night for a superior one bedroom suite, US$325 per night for a deluxe room and US$460 per night for a suite. Special packages are available, such as a honeymoon/romantic package, a dive package or a safari package.

Island Paradise Beach Village

All condominiums are located next to a sandy beach and facing the Atlantic Ocean. A typical suite consists of a Queen size bed and full bathroom facilities, TV and full size kitchen. The resort is located very close to restaurants and a casino.

During the high season (Dec 15 to Apr 12) the rates range between US$160 per night for a 1 bedroom suite, US$240 per night for a two bedroom suite and US$325 per night for a three bedroom suite. The minimum stay is 3 nights.
