Aruba is one of the most popular Caribbean islands, drawing both European and American tourists every year. There are many beautiful beaches on the island, but the high rise resorts are located on Palm Beach.

Tourist season

Aruba enjoys a tropical marine climate, with little changes in temperature year round. The average temperature is around 80 F. Because of its location, the sun is always strong, but the breezes keep the air at a pleasant temperature. The tropical rains and hurricanes are rare.

Although a travel destination all year round, the high season starts in mid-December and ends in April, so during those months the prices will be at their highest both for accommodation and airfare. During the summer, most resorts offer summer sales when you can really benefit from the discounted prices.

Radisson Resort is one of the high rise resorts in Aruba, located on Palm Beach. There are 365 guestrooms, a club, a spa, three restaurants and bars, two swimming pools, as well as diving and watersports centers on site. All guestrooms are designed with luxury in mind. During the summer you can benefit from the resort’s summer sales, when prices range from US$236/night to US$714/night, depending on the type of room you prefer. Taxes are not included in the price.

Hyatt Regency Aruba Resort & Casino

Hyatt Regency is a 12-acre resort located on Palm Beach. There are several types of rooms available, all equipped with AC. There are also pools, restaurants, exercise rooms, sauna, two tennis courts, basketball court and other sports. The hotel is very popular so make sure to book well in advance. During the summer expect to pay between US$370/room and US$520/room depending on the type of room you prefer.

Divi Aruba Phoenix Beach Resort

Divi Phoenix Beach Resort, located also on Palm Beach, offers 101 ocean view studios, all equipped with AC, full kitchenette, patio or balcony and TV. There are a fitness center, two swimming pools and Jacuzzi. There is also a children activities area. During the summer season expect to pay between US$185/night for a studio and US$210/night for a one bedroom suite. Breakfast and taxes are not included in the price.
