The Norwegian Epic
One of the newest ships of the Norwegian fleet, the Epic, will be sailing Miami. Making regular trips to the Caribbean, the Epic will visit Philipsburg, St. Maarten for two days, St. Thomas, and Nassau, Bahamas for two days, returning to Miami. These seven-night cruises depart on Sunday and return to Miami on Sunday. The two day stops allow passengers plenty of time to thoroughly explore these Caribbean islands, without worry. On board the Epic, guests indulge in Freestyle Cruising, which means they design their own day. Meals are served in a number of different restaurants and cafes, and there is plenty to do on board the ship. Guests can choose from the Sports Complex, spa, Epic Casino, an assortment of nightclubs and performances, an arcade, a card room, a cigar lounge and specials areas for kids and teenagers. Of course, there is always something going on at the pool area. Single guests can also choose the new studio staterooms, designed for the single traveler. No longer does a single traveler need to pay extra to have a room to themselves.
The Norwegian Star
For the first time, the Norwegian Cruise Line will be sailing from the port of Tampa. The Star will be traveling to the Caribbean for seven-night cruises. Leaving Tampa, the Epic will be sailing to Roatan, Bay Islands for two days, Belize City for two days, Costa Maya for two days and Cozumel, Mexico for two days before returning to Tampa. Guests will be able to take in the different cultures of the Western Caribbean, South America and Mexico before returning to Tampa. On board the Star, guests can choose from great performances in the Stardust theater, the Fitness Centre, the Star Casino, the internet cafe, shopping, great Italian and French restaurants, and the great dining rooms of the ship. There are special areas for teenagers and younger kids on the Epic.
The Norwegian Sun
The Norwegian Sun sails from Orlando Beach/Port Canaveral to the Western Caribbean. The Sun travels to Cozumel for two days, Georgetown for two days, Ocho Rios for two days, the Great Stirrup Cay for two days and then back to Port Canaveral. Guests will be able to explore the barrier reef, see the local dolphin population and explore the remains of the Mayan culture. While the ship is sailing, there is plenty for passengers to keep busy. The Sun offers guests the opportunity to explore the new Brazilian Steak house, the Sun casino, hot tubs, the internet cafe, golf practice, performances at the ships two large theaters, the galleria shops and the video zone. The Sun has just been refurbished at a cost of several million and its accommodations and passenger areas have been updated to a modern look.
