What to Expect

Michael Wagner is the owner of Mike’s Marina Fishing Charters. Born in Germany, Mike has been fishing in the local waters in Punta Cana for over a decade. He knows which areas are the most pristine, where all the fish are hiding. There is no better fisherman to get you started on your fishing expedition. The fishing charters are guided by English speaking captains, and they are all professional lifetime sportfishermen from the waters of Punta Cana.

What it Costs

Private half day charters (4 hrs) starting at $675 per charter boat for offshore sportfishing or bottom fishing.

Private full day charters (6, 8 or 10 hrs) starting at $975 per charter boat (some charters include lunch).

Shared half day charters (4 hrs) $150/person, $250/couple, $375 3/people, $500 4/people

Special Events

For the Holy week (April 9th – April 12th) select charter boats will be operating, and they are only available for private full day charters. Included in the price of $1,395.00, is transportation from all hotels on the east coast, English speaking crews, all baits and fishing gears, bottled water, softdrinks, beer and food.

Sportfishing customers have the added bonus of a great savings by booking their fishing charter with hotel accomodations. We offer all inclusive lodging at the Carabela Beach Resort & Casino. The resort is only a one minute walk away. Mike’s customers can book as many nights and rooms as they would like.
