Climate and tourist season

Just like in the rest of the Caribbean, the climate is tropical: hot year round, with two seasons (dry and wet). The average day time temperature is 80F/27C and is cooled down by the trade winds. The driest time on the island is between January and March, which also comprises the high tourist season, which lasts between December and April. The wet season lasts between June and November although showers are possible all year long but hurricanes might hit the island.

Stonefield Estate Villa Resort

Stonefield is located close to Malgretoute and Jalousie beachesa and is the island’s premiere luxury boutique resort. Thanks to its location, it offers incredible diving spots. Hiking in the near-by forest is a popular activity as well.

The highest rates are between Christmas and New Year, while the winter rates (January to April) range between US$275 per night for a one bedroom superior suite and US$800 per night for a three bedroom premium luxury suite. Rates are based on single/double occupancy and do not include the taxes but include the full use of the resort’s facilities.

East Winds Inn, Gros Islet

Located among beautiful gardens and offering a lovely pool, East Winds Inn is the perfect resort where you can relax and enjoy the Caribbean weather and nature. Also the resort features all the modern and elegant facilities you expect.

The rates are based on the all inclusive plan and all rooms feature fridge, phone and coffee maker. Expect to pay, on average, between US$ 445.00 per night for 2 persons in a double superior room and US 500.00 per night for 2 persons in a double ocean view room.

The 20 villas offer either 1 or 2 bedroom suites, all with fully equipped kitchenette, making it very easy for the guests to cater for themselves. All suites also have AC, TV and phones. During the high season expect to pay between US$295.00 per night for a Deluxe One-Bedroom Villa Suite (1 or 2 persons), US$200.00 per night for a One-bedroom Studio Villa (1 or 2 persons) , US$175.00 per night for a Two Bedroom Villa Suite (3 or 4 persons) and US$255.00 per night for the La Dauphine Great House (5 or 6 persons).
